Office domicile - Odense
5E Byg has built an inviting and modern office building of 6440 m2 on 4 floors. The office domicile houses 5E Byg's head office and modern office facilities for rent.
The building was constructed with the aim of achieving DGNB Gold certification, which places high demands on sustainable quality materials and operations that ensure optimal environmental, economic and social conditions. As part of the social conditions, one of the criteria concerns visual comfort through lighting for health, comfort, user satisfaction, functionality and aesthetics for the employees of the office centre.
For the project, Teamtronic delivered a stylish lighting solution consisting of customised Z-line line profiles that run through all floors of the building. Black Z-line Suspended 53.8-80 in 3000 mm was chosen for the open-plan office environments and meeting rooms, providing versatile and optimal basic lighting for the office environment. Black Z-line On 53.8-80 in 3000 mm and black Z-line Wall 53.8-90 with direct and indirect light in all toilets were chosen for the stairways in the office building. In addition, a selection of black luminaires such as T-C1 Long, T-Prins and T-Thebe were also used for the office domicile, as well as T-Tornado G2 for the 7-level car park.
Common to all the luminaires used in the office domicile is that the luminaires are daylight controlled via DALI-2 drivers and sensors. This means that the light level of the luminaires in the office domicile is automatically regulated according to the natural light coming in through the windows. The lighting is crucial for the comfort of the office centre's employees, as the lighting supports the human biological clock and hormone production, which is affected by the light through the daily rhythm and weather conditions.
Not only does the lighting promote social conditions through visual comfort for the employees of the office domicile, but the overall lighting solution also contributes to reducing operating costs and energy consumption as part of the criteria for achieving DGNB Gold certification.
The project was carried out in close collaboration with 5E Byg and Hauge Installation.
