Responsibility & Imprint

At Teamtronic, we take responsibility for the impact we make - both in relation to the climate, our business partners and the everyday life we are a part of.

We recognise the increasing necessity of global climate action and the importance of businesses contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As a small and medium-sized company in the lighting industry, we are committed to understanding, managing and reducing our CO₂ equivalents in a responsible and transparent way.

On this page you can get an insight into our carbon footprint and how we continuously strive to make a positive difference - both in small and large ways.

Ambitions

At Teamtronic, we believe that responsibility is not an end goal, but a process. We are part of a changing world - and with that comes a responsibility to consider how our solutions affect both people and the environment.

We continuously strive to make better choices when it comes to materials, production, partners and the way our products are used. It's about looking all the way round at what we do - and taking a stand. We don't have all the answers yet, but we have a clear position: we want to contribute to a more responsible future through thoughtful lighting solutions, technology and an honest look at our own role. This requires us to keep asking questions, improving our processes and collaborating with others who share the same approach.

Our responsibility is not just about what we produce - it's also about how we work. We prioritise long-lasting solutions, technologies, and partnerships that respect both quality and people.

Did you know that...

Did you know that Teamtronic works with lighting control systems that adjust light levels according to daylight and presence, which can reduce energy consumption by up to 50 %?

Climate report 2024

In 2025, Teamtronic published our first climate report - for the financial year 2024. This marks the beginning of a long-term process where we as a company want to become more aware of the footprint we leave and the responsibility we have in the world.

The climate report provides an insight into how we have mapped our direct and indirect emissions, which focus areas we are working on and our goals for the coming years. The report initially focuses on our own direct emissions (Scope 1) and indirect emissions from energy (Scope 2). Here we have concentrated on electric company cars, circular collaborations and our search for European partners and solutions.

We recognise that this is not the whole picture. Our total impact extends further - to suppliers, transport, materials and much more (Scope 3). The 2024 climate report is a first step. It's a foundation we're building on - and it will strengthen our work towards a more informed and responsible starting point for 2025 and beyond.

Get an insight into how we work with responsibility, prioritise focus areas - and take the first steps in the right direction.

Did you know that...

Did you know that lighting accounts for approximately 15 % of energy consumption in a typical office building? Efficient luminaires and intelligent control can reduce this significantly.

Responsible collaboration

Teamtronic focuses on responsible partnerships that can help us move forward in a responsible way.

Papirværk

From waste to value - our new circular partnership

Did you know that paper production is one of the most resource-intensive processes in industry? We have taken an important step to reduce our carbon footprint together with Papirværk, a local paper mill that transforms our paper waste into new products - without any chemical additives.

By partnering with Paper Mill, we can give waste paper a new life in a way that both protects the environment and creates value.

Want to hear more about how we have already created new business cards from our own recycled paper together with Paper Mill? Click through and read the full story.

AM-Hub & Prototal (formerly Damvig)

Small steps towards more responsible production

In collaboration with AM-HUB and Prototal (formerly Damvig), Teamtronic has worked hard to integrate 3D printing into our development and production processes.

AM-HUB has served as an important sparring partner and bridge builder, helping us to see opportunities for responsible production through additive manufacturing.

As a technology partner, Prototal (formerly Damvig) has contributed specialist knowledge of 3D printed components, which has enabled us to develop and test new solutions quickly and efficiently.

The collaborations show how technology and know-how can come together to create real value in the industry.

Did you know that...

By switching from conventional light sources to LED lighting, we can reduce energy consumption by as much as 50%. And if we add technology such as daylight control and motion sensors, the savings add up to 90%.

How we have incorporated lighting control

Modern LED technology makes it possible to create beautiful lighting solutions that both save energy and reduce CO₂. At the same time, intelligent lighting control and zone control can contribute to further savings. Teamtronic solutions are developed with a focus on both light quality and operational efficiency - for the benefit of both the economy and the environment.

Energy efficient lighting - save energy without compromising

Our commitment

At Teamtronic, we have experienced lighting consultants who perform detailed lighting calculations and 3D visualisations as part of our complete advice and documentation for office projects.

We're with you from the beginning of the design phase, providing thorough DIALux calculations to ensure your project meets the EN:12464:1 2021 standard
