School lighting for Broskolen in Årslev - Modern learning environments with flexible and sustainable lighting

Broskolen in Årslev has undergone extensive modernisation and expansion with a focus on creating modern and sustainable learning environments for both students and staff - an important step in the municipality's urban development strategy.

As part of the expansion, two independent buildings with attractive outdoor areas have been constructed. One building houses classrooms and rooms for crafts & design and visual arts, while the other is dedicated to music education and the music school, with two larger music rooms and three practice rooms.

In both buildings, our line profile Z-line On 39-38 in length 600 mm was chosen, which is ideal for installation in wood concrete ceilings such as Troldtekt. The profiles are staggered to create a playful and dynamic expression. In addition, the buildings contain common areas and toilets, where lighting also plays an important role. To create a common thread through the spaces, Z-line On 39-38 in 600 mm is also used in the common areas, again with staggered placement to add visual lightness and variation to the space.

All lighting solutions are supplied with DALI control, ensuring intelligent and energy-efficient operation. DALI makes it possible to customise the light as needed - for example, daylight dimming and occupancy sensors that automatically adjust the light level to reduce unnecessary energy consumption. The flexible control not only contributes to increased comfort and better learning environments, but also supports the school's sustainable profile by minimising power consumption and extending the lifetime of the luminaires.
