Kompan office domicile

Most people recognise the Danish brand Kompan when they see a colourful playground. This recognisability has been of great importance in connection with the renovation and expansion of Kompan's office domicile in Odense.

With the expansion of 1,510 square metres, the office space has almost doubled to a total of 3,500 square metres. This provides space for 110 new office workplaces and more internal facilities such as meeting rooms, canteen expansion and more.

At Teamtronic, in collaboration with an interior designer and electrical installer, we have delivered a number of luminaires where both design and lighting control have played a crucial role. To support Kompan's playful and colourful DNA, we supplied luminaires that create a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. In addition, Teamtronic has supplied lighting solutions for Kompan's office domicile with Dali lighting control, which ensures intelligent and energy-efficient operation.

In the meeting rooms and canteen, we have worked with our circular T-Circle luminaires in different sizes and locations, giving the space a dynamic and playful character. Spotlights are strategically placed to emphasise art and images on the walls, while line profiles and downlights create the right working light for employees and ensure optimal working conditions in the other corridors and office environments.

In both the existing office domicile and the new extension, there has been a strong focus on bringing in daylight. Large, irregular window sections and skylights ensure a rich influx of light at Kompan. Automatic daylight control was therefore essential, and all lighting is equipped with PIR sensors that are zone and daylight controlled to create an optimal balance between natural and artificial light.

With a PIR sensor it is possible to achieve automatic daylight control, where the sensor detects the light level in the room in question and regulates the light in the luminaires according to how many LUX there are in the room. The PIR sensor is a wireless solution that is built into the luminaires without traditional wiring.
