DGI has unpacked their final moving boxes in the middle of their newly refurbished regional office in Vejle. With a total floor area of 3,307 square metres, their modernised office is ready to be a focal point and meeting place for employees, regional associations, and partners.
The Vejle office has been developed with a focus on flexible work zones and strong communal areas – where light and architecture work closely together.
Teamtronic has been responsible for the general lighting on all floors of the building, which is intended as an integrated part of the building's design. Through a combination of built-in linear profiles, suspended luminaires and spotlights, the lighting has been adapted to the individual rooms and their functions.
Lighting in offices plays a crucial role in promoting employee well-being, concentration, and job satisfaction. The lighting solution for the newly renovated DGI's national office has therefore been carefully selected, so that all types of light fittings contribute to ensuring optimal working light.
In particular, our integrated line profiles from the In-line series are incorporated directly into the ceiling system, providing a clean, calm, and coherent look without visual clutter. It adds a simple and modern expression, while the solution ensures uniform and efficient basic lighting in open office environments.
As a contrasting element, the circular luminaire T-Circle is used in selected zones. The soft shapes add variation and create visual focal points that support the identity of the spaces.
The solution has been developed with a focus on both aesthetics and functionality – where the correct light level, comfort, and integration are crucial parameters in the overall architectural approach.
The project is also Denmark's first Swan-labelled office renovation, certified by the Danish Ecolabel, which sets high standards for both energy consumption and indoor climate.
