Svendborg Psychiatry

Teamtronic has delivered a project-specific lighting solution for three departments at Svendborg Psychiatry, including 55 patient rooms, hallways, and common areas. The solution has been developed with a focus on functionality, visual comfort, and the establishment of a calm and safe treatment environment for patients and staff.
Teamtronic's lighting is designed with special consideration for supporting human's natural needs. Therefore, light level and colour temperature are automatically adjusted throughout the day to support the body's natural rhythm. Tunable White amber technology has also been used, enabling a warm and gentle night light without blue light, so patients can rest undisturbed, while staff continue to have optimal orientation conditions – and also do not disrupt their circadian rhythm when they return home from a night shift.
The solution is integrated with an intelligent lighting control system featuring predefined scenarios such as day, night, and emergency from MO2. The system has been developed in close collaboration with staff, making it easy to adapt lighting for both daily workflows and emergency situations. The combination of central control and local operation ensures a flexible, user-friendly solution that contributes to stable and safe everyday environments.
