An important step towards a greener future has been taken. Teamtronic prepares their first climate report for 2024 to show responsibility as a manufacturing company and reduce their Climateimprint.

Initial focus areas 

Although it is not yet a government requirement for lighting manufacturers like Teamtronic to provide climate accounts, Teamtronic has set a clear goal to identify areas where their climate impact can be improved. By proactively taking responsibility for their carbon footprint, Teamtronic not only wants to comply with future requirements and documentation in this area, but they also hope to be at the forefront of industry sustainability goals.

Teamtronic has a clear goal that in the future they will be able to target focus areas for effective CO2 reduction measures. Among other things, Teamtronic has identified three initial focus areas relating to transport and logistics, as well as a green product line focusing on material selection and production for a reduced carbon footprint.

New collaboration

As part of its climate efforts, Teamtronic has already initiated a collaboration with the Danish AM Hub, which works with the implementation of additive manufacturing. Here, the CO2 emissions of 3D printing are being investigated in comparison to traditional manufacturing methods, such as CNC, in the production of fittings and components for Teamtronic's lighting fixtures.
