The customer wanted a new lighting system in their animal shelter that would have a positive effect on the animals' well-being. The circadian lighting in the animal house was particularly relevant, as animals, like humans, thrive best with a stable circadian rhythm with daylight during the day and darkness at night.

The customer wanted a system that would ensure stable and optimal circadian lighting for their animal housing and laboratories. In addition, the lighting system had to be able to handle red task lighting in conjunction with circadian lighting.

At Teamtronic, we have supplied dynamic circadian lighting for the establishment of a new lighting system in animal housing laboratories. With the implemented dynamic circadian lighting, it is possible to control and set a time for sunrise and a time for sunset. Daylight saving time and winter time are also taken into account. Each laboratory is controlled solely via a display at the entrance to the room. In this regard, each zone/room is individually programmed.

The red light is designed as an integrated part of the supplied luminaires. The purpose of the red light is to provide working light for people working in the animal house without disturbing the animals unnecessarily. The animals do not experience the red light. The red light can be operated in the laboratories via on/off.
