Teamtronic's first climate report marks the start of an important journey!
Our climate is a key focus area in Teamtronic's strategy and an important item on the agenda. The 2024 climate report is an important milestone that marks the first steps on a long and valuable journey.
At Teamtronic, we have set ourselves a goal - to learn more about our climate footprint. We have created a baseline that enables us to optimise and find the right solutions and focus areas that make a concrete difference to our climate footprint. Both small and large initiatives will become part of Teamtronic's everyday life across all departments, from purchasing materials for production to the way we handle our warehouse, logistics and transport.
Focus on knowledge, transparency and concrete climate improvements
Climate reporting is complex and requires both precision and thoroughness. In our 2024 climate report, we have chosen to focus on the areas where we have the most control and where we can quickly make improvements - scope 1 and scope 2. This means that we have now mapped our direct emissions and the indirect emissions that stem from our energy consumption.
In the 2025 climate report, we take the next step and start working to include scope 3 data. This means emissions from our suppliers, transport, waste management and other activities in our value chain. This is a natural but ambitious further development of our climate work that will give us an even better basis for improvement.
Annual status and climate targets to ensure continuous development
In the coming years, Teamtronic will also work to create greater transparency in relation to the climate footprint we at Teamtronic create through our production of lighting products. We want to ensure that our customers and partners can trust that when they choose Teamtronic as a supplier, they are choosing a supplier that actively works to improve the environment. In the coming years, Teamtronic will focus on documenting the climate impact of production and ensuring reliable data for LCA calculations.
Going forward, we will publish an annual climate report with a status analysis and updated climate targets. We look forward to learning more about our own climate footprint and continuing our work to find new solutions and initiatives that make a difference. At the same time, we look forward to sharing our experiences and insights with our customers and business partners.
