UN17 Village
UN17 Village is an innovative sustainable housing and community development project that fulfils the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. By integrating green technologies, recyclable materials and social inclusion, UN17 Village seeks to create a model for future urban development.
Kronen, part of UN17 Village, has achieved the prestigious WELL health certification - the first residential building in Denmark to boast this international recognition. The WELL certification, developed by the International WELL Building Institute™, recognises buildings that promote health and wellness through careful design and operation.
To achieve WELL certification, the building must fulfil around 40 mandatory requirements related to air and water quality, daylight and acoustics, as well as earn points in around 60 criteria ranging from bronze to platinum level.
Every home in UN17 Village is designed with a focus on energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact. The mental and physical health of residents is central to the design of UN17 Village. Health measures are carefully integrated to create an environment that promotes a healthy lifestyle. Special attention is paid to avoiding harmful substances in materials and electronic components. At the same time, the amount and quality of light has a major impact on our health and well-being. Therefore, measures are implemented to increase the quality of both daylight and artificial light in homes.
Teamtronic is proud to have supplied the lighting for three of the five buildings in UN17 Village. Our LED luminaires contribute to increasing well-being with high quality artificial light and daylight control.
For ambient lighting in various common areas, we have supplied our attractive spotlight, T-Arche F1. A spotlight with a minimalist and simple expression, where the built-in light source ensures minimal glare. Our linear Z-line suspended profile and our circular profile, T-Circles, are installed as ambient lighting in several of the common areas. These two luminaire types harmonise well together visually and in terms of design. For special lighting above e.g. kitchen islands, our modern suspended cylindrical T-Modular luminaire is used. For lighting in various kitchens, we supplied our Clean Backlight Panel M599. A classic 60x60 panel, specially developed for demanding environments where efficient cleaning is required.
All luminaires are supplied with DALI control, which allows you to programme different light sequences or patterns where the lights are switched on, off or dimmed according to the desired scenario. By having precise control over light levels, DALI can help reduce energy consumption and thus the cost of lighting. The ability to dim lights as needed or automatically switch them off when not in use helps minimise unnecessary energy waste.
The project was developed by NREP in collaboration with Sweco Architects, Lendager Group, MOE, Artelia and C.G. Jensen.
