Courthouse at Vestre prison

At Teamtronic, we are supplying lighting for a newly built court building at Vestre Prison. The project involves lighting for one large courtroom and two smaller rooms for constitutional hearings. All three halls will be established with associated rooms such as waiting rooms, deliberation rooms, prosecution rooms and a guard building.

Building function places high demands on lighting both technically and physically.

At Teamtronic, we have supplied LED panel luminaires with special security screws and dynamic circadian lighting. The panel luminaires are specially secured 60x60 luminaires that require special tools to dismantle the luminaire.
The dynamic circadian lighting was particularly relevant in the courthouse cells, as there are no windows and it is therefore not possible for inmates to experience a natural circadian rhythm. Therefore, the luminaires were supplied with DALI DT8 driver for dynamic light (Tunable white) 2700-6500 Kelvin. The dynamic circadian lighting is programmed to follow a fixed daily programme in all cells and works within colour temperatures between 2700-6500 Kelvin. This ensures that the inmates do not experience a disruption of their circadian rhythm.
