PTU Rehabilitation Centre

In connection with the extension and renovation of the National Association of Polio, Traffic and Accident Injury Rehabilitation Centres, also known as PTUs, Teamtronic (Open Light Denmark) supplied lighting solutions based on the desire for coherence, elegance and simple spaces with light and floor-to-ceiling openings.

RH Arkitekter is behind the remodelling and has had a special focus on creating a welcoming environment for the many people who use the building daily. RH Arkitekter describes how this environment is created through "simple and beautiful lighting in the bright rooms and minimalist and stylish furnishings".

In this connection, we have delivered our linear profile - Extend. Extend has a simple, unique and exclusive design and expression that both increases the acoustic surface area and creates calmness in the overall ceiling appearance. Extend was delivered for this project as a free-hanging linear profile, but is primarily used for installation in suspended ceiling systems by Ecophon. Through years of collaboration with Ecophon, Extend can today be installed in a wide range of Ecophon modular ceilings, including the Focus, Master and Hygiene product groups
