Høje-Taastrup City Hall

In connection with the construction of Høje-Taastrup Municipality's new town hall, Teamtronic has delivered a modern and complete lighting solution for the 9580 square metres spread over nine floors as well as outdoor lighting for the environment around the town hall.

Also known as the City Hall of the Future, the building is built to the highest standards of sustainable construction with energy-efficient solutions and proven materials. The city hall's nine floors are built around a central and continuous atrium. The City Hall houses citizen-oriented functions, such as a job centre and citizen service, as well as office facilities, meeting rooms, kitchen, canteen, classrooms, city council chamber, roof terrace, etc.

For the project, Teamtronic has supplied over 2000 luminaires of the T-Hee, T-Blackbird, T-Arche Pro, T-Modular, T-HCA Spot and T-LED types, but the main part of the lighting in the building consists of customised line profiles. Here, In-line 63-70 recessed profiles in the Rockfon T24 X ceiling system with concealed tracks are used throughout the large office and meeting rooms in various lengths from 500 mm to 3119 mm. In the perpendicular corners of the town hall, extra attention to detail has been paid with specially designed profiles, and the results speak for themselves.

The continuous line profiles have also been recessed in all kitchen niches, and in the toilets, Z-line Wall 42-85 with direct and indirect light distribution has been used over mirrors in various lengths from 650 - 2332 mm. The T-Hee recessed luminaire also acts as a continuous luminaire throughout the building, where different sizes have been combined to create a light and vibrant expression, for example in the council chamber.

The lighting is programmed with occupancy sensors and DALI daylight control, which regulates the light level according to the natural light coming in through the building's large windows. The overall lighting solution is modern and complete, combining functionality and the ambitions for energy-efficient operation of the City Hall of the Future!
