H.C. Andersen's House

In the heart of Odense is the Hans Christian Andersen Museum. Andersen's House, which offers a journey through the author's creative universe and his fairy tales. The project includes architectural lighting of indoor areas, including lighting design for the café, museum, foyer and administration, as well as outdoor lighting in the multi-level Adventure Garden.

Common to the entire project is that we at Teamtronic have customised the lighting and design of our indoor and outdoor luminaires. For lighting in the café, foyer, corridors and more, we supplied our attractive T-Arche F1 spotlight. The spotlights are delivered in a special RAL colour that matches the wooden beam construction of the building. For the museum's continuous light corridor and stair towers, we have supplied striking strip lights that create a discreet illuminated path through the museum.

The lighting is delivered with Ra90 - 2700 kelvin, where the warm glow from the indoor lighting extends out into the surrounding garden. In addition, all luminaires are equipped with DALI lighting control, which enables dynamic daylight-dependent lighting scenarios.

The lighting project around H.C. Andersen's House has also been nominated for the Danish Light Award 2023. Andersen's House is also nominated for the Danish Lighting Award 2023. The Danish Lighting Award is presented by the Danish Centre for Light, which celebrates well-designed and well-executed lighting projects in Denmark where lighting design supports architecture and enhances the overall experience.
