Gubsø Garage

In close collaboration with Gubsø Garage, we have developed 120 luminaires based on original lamps that once hung in the workshop of the French car manufacturer Bugatti.

Gubsø Garage is a conference, event and experience centre in Søhøjlandet near Silkeborg. The architecture of the buildings is inspired by the plans for the first Bugatti factory in France, and the premises house one of the country's most exclusive collections of classic cars.

Gubsø Garage wanted to create a lamp inspired by an original version that hung in the Bugatti workshop as a continuous element in the buildings. Gubsø Garage was responsible for the design and production of the lamp housing, and Teamtronic was given the exciting task of developing the light source for the special lamp.

Creativity was put into play in our lighting lab, experimenting with technical components and a combination of different shields. This customised solution made it possible to adapt the lighting to the large spaces.

The result was a modern and energy-efficient light source wrapped in a historic and authentic lamp housing. Thanks to Gubsø Grarage for the trust and good co-operation - at Teamtronic we are proud of the final result!
