AMU Fyn - Odense

At Teamtronic, we have the honour of supplying the lighting for two exciting and very different lighting projects at AMU Fyn in Odense.

The first lighting project involved lighting the staircase and entrance ramp at AMU Fyn's main entrance. AMU Fyn wanted effective lighting that was discreet and neutral at the stairs and ramp. The lighting solution was therefore the milling of our aluminium profile, T-ALP003, with LED strips and Opal shielding. The entrance ramp and stairs are now illuminated with the right efficiency, while the aluminium profiles are concealed, making the light itself appear elegant in the dark.

The second project involved illuminating a unique piece of art with a special history for AMU Fyn. AMU Fyn wanted to illuminate their unique artwork, which consists of 3 parts representing the school's different educational subjects. The artwork is carved in glass by artist Gustav Hjortelund and was donated by the Albani Foundation when the school was built. To illuminate the glass artwork, AMU Fyn wanted concealed lighting to light up the artwork and create a light frame around it. For this exciting project, we supplied some specially customised LED blocks with wires. These small LED blocks made it possible to hide the installation of the light directly behind the artwork while illuminating the glass artwork and creating a luminous frame.
