The new advanced light laboratory is strengthening the quality of lighting solutions

Photo: Teamtronic – For their light laboratory, Teamtronic invested in advanced test equipment from VISO Systems last year. This was an upgrade to their testing technology and internal light laboratory. The new test equipment is fully integrated into their internal testing procedure in the technical department.

New test technology at Teamtronic ensures documented quality and higher precision in projects

At Teamtronic, we consider ourselves lighting geeks. We go into detail, test thoroughly and do not compromise on quality – not even when it comes to our own test equipment.

Therefore, over several years, we have established an internal lighting laboratory, which has now been expanded with advanced testing technology. This strengthens our ability to document and quality-assure each individual lighting solution – benefiting consultants, installers, and clients alike.

Quality-assured test procedure

At Teamtronic, we don't just rely on in-depth external reports when it comes to testing our lighting fixtures. With our new advanced testing equipment from VISO Systems, we closely measure and monitor each individual product throughout the entire process ourselves.

It is crucial for us to be able to test and control our solutions. This provides a deeper understanding of our products and their performance in practice. At the same time, it makes us more flexible in our production, as we can quickly validate changes, perform quality tests, and ensure that our fixtures meet various requirements and standards.

For our customers, this means shorter reaction times, greater delivery reliability and lighting solutions that have been thoroughly tested – even when special or complex requirements are involved.

Thorough and detailed tests

Our test procedure is extensive and, in addition to third-party testing, covers EMC, electrical safety, temperature, humidity, vibration, IP-rating, and flammability, among others. Furthermore, we carry out precise measurements of lumens, colour rendering (CRI), colour temperature (Kelvin), spectral light distribution, light distribution, and UGR values.

The comprehensive tests allow us to simulate the conditions the lighting fixtures encounter in practice. This ensures reliable and durable lighting solutions that perform dependably even under demanding conditions.

Our focus on quality and documentation follows the fitting throughout the entire process. The investment in our testing procedure is therefore another step towards delivering thoroughly tested and reliable lighting solutions for each individual project.
