Colour rendering plays a key role in retail, where the visual impression is crucial to the shopping experience. The CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures the light source's ability to reproduce colours correctly - and the scale ranges from 0 to 100, with 100 corresponding to natural daylight.<\/p>\n

In stores that sell clothing, fruit, vegetables or meat, the difference between CRI 80 and CRI 90 can be obvious. A high CRI ensures that the colours of the products appear authentic, vibrant and appealing - creating both aesthetics and trust. It's important that the product appears as natural as possible in store lighting - just as it would at home or in daylight.
