1. Maintenance plan - Teamtronic luminaires<\/h3>\n

In general, EN12464 requires a maintenance plan to be drawn up when a new lighting system is installed. This plan also includes cleaning schedules. When cleaning luminaires, it is important that it is done in the right way so that the luminaire is not damaged.<\/p>\n

Maintenance factor When designing lighting installations, the soiling of luminaires and light sources must be taken into account according to EN12464.<\/p>\n

2. Maintenance factor<\/h3>\n

According to DS\/EN 12464-1:2011, \"the lighting designer (lighting planner) shall state the maintenance factor and list all assumptions used to determine the value.\" In addition, the lighting planner\/designer must prepare a maintenance plan, which must include any light source replacements and cleaning intervals for rooms and luminaires.<\/p>\n

DS\/EN 12464-1 states that maintenance factors (MF, Maintenance Factor) can be calculated according to CIE 97:2005 Maintenance of Indoor Electric Lighting Systems:<\/p>\n

3. Material cleaning<\/h3>\n

Guideline material cleaning Cleaning of the items is carried out with a mild sulfo solution and a water temperature of max. 60 degrees. The use of detergents containing abrasives or solvents may damage the surface and should be avoided.<\/p>\n

Hard brushing or scrubbing can damage the surface and should be avoided. Never use high-pressure cleaners for Polycarbonate diffuser for luminaires with a high IP rating, this causes water ingress and damages the material.<\/p>\n

For reflector surfaces with a glossy finish, it is recommended to use a dry soft cloth.<\/p>\n

It is important that the luminaires are cleaned in the right way so that they are not damaged.<\/p>\n
